I backed Homer the Thing out of my garage to do some work on Moe the Squareback today.

Today I took THE 74 THING apart to wire brush the pan and suspension.

Finally putting some wheels and tires on my poor neglected Thing. Didn’t realize how wrong the old ones looked until I stuck a new one on. Yokohama Geolander a/t 215/70/15’s and Mobelwagon wheels.

that fake grass had me take a closer look! Looked just like a ghia I seen recently that the Pan was rusted out and you could see the grass below.

Making headway on mine. hoping to spray the orange paint on it soon... just a little more filler, sanding, primer, sanding yet. disc brake kit box showed up, so after paint I should be just bolting the parts on.
