The last run of those tires made in Sweden sold out. I hope it's not a couple of more years before they are available again like last time.
I'd like to buy an unmounted spare if I could find some stock... _________________ '78 Westfalia CDN

They're the right size, load rating, and a decent price! Jeremy |

It's the closest tire to the reinforced Belgium made Michelin X that VW used. Most tires available are C instead of reinforced like the CR-21. _________________ '78 Westfalia CDN

I talked to a Continental dealer outside of Toronto and he says they run a batch of them every once and a while. Doesn't know when the next batch will be run. |

I looked for quite a while when I was planning to get new tires; I ended up with the Yokohama Y356 in a 195/75R14LT load range D (max load 1710#s). It's not really what I wanted- I wanted something a little wider and more aggresive, but the only tire I found that met those requirements was about $135/each- the Coopers listed below (I pointed out the mud tire for those into the "Baja Bus" look.

Tirerack.com has the Y356 in 185 and 195
Check out the SRMII Radial LT and the Discoverer STT (this mud tire is rated at 1532lbs)
