| Boy, now it is up to $107,000 with a $35,000 markup according to Carnuts. Who would pay that elevated price. I have gotten to know some strange VW people in my 55+ years with VW but NOBODY, I mean NOBODY will pay the $35,000 over list. |

Does that price include the extension cord needed for a long road trip?

| I am looking forward to seeing one driving around. Yet to see one in my neighborhood. Didn’t the same thing happen with the new Ford Broncos? That excitement died down soon enough. Same will happen here. Unless VW starts lifting the ID Buzz. Lifted and decked out broncos are $80-$100K. |

I'm tryin' to figure this out. Dodge builds muscle cars that look like it's 1970 again. Chevy pays homage to late '60s Camaros. Ford sells Mustangs that look like the old ones. Why oh why can't VW re- tool and offer an accurate replica of a pre- '67 Bus instead of some dumb shit that looks like the bastard offspring of a Cybertruck and a Subaru 360? Dumb expensive shit. Sixty grand isn't chump change.
Oh, wait. Those guys in Ohio make perfect replica Deluxe Bus bodies. $35k doesn't sound too bad for one of those....

Average new car price in 2024 is 48k. 60k isn’t what it used to be.
Average big SUV is 80k new.

The Bakersfield vw dealer has some on the lot for around 72k ish, I think. I wonder how much they will sell for second hand, after the lease trade ins start coming in.

As the Buzz battery dies on a road trip, the Buzz will drain your cell phone via the USB port to keep the Buzz running. Then you will be stuck with a dead Buzz and a dead telephone.
I wonder if they will have electric cup holders too? |

Fortunately for VW it’s the only all electric minivan in the market today. I just saw a green one at my local dealership and I’ll admit that it looks pretty cool. I’ll own one in a few years. |

I spotted one in the wild yesterday while driving to the grandkids house for Christmas.
When it made the left turn onto hyway 47 I got a good side view.
It looks a hellofa lot better looking than a fucking Cyber Truck!
While I am unlikely to ever buy an ID Buzz. It wasn't hard to look at.
