Please, lift some sheets and let us see the details and give us more information.
Of course no compressor, cause 4 wires to plugs here.
Is it known how many miles or km the engine has already run, or is it still "new"?

What I know....
The engine builder passed away 15+ years ago.
The engine was running in a Pre-A for a short while. I do not know how many Km's the motor has done. It was removed from the car when the matching numbers engine was found and installed in the car.
It has not been run since. I do not want to pull the engine apart just to see what is inside it.
My plans are to change the seals, check the carburetors, put an exhaust on it, then install it in my '56 Karmann Ghia.

Thank you for your answer. I think, we are on a very good way.
Suggest, it wouldn´t be a fault to replace the oil cooler (radiator) seals...
Then some pics... P L E A S E...
Thank you in advance, (wagen 19)
(I also have low light, a 58 coupe, 1 930 xxx, thinking Porsche too)

I will take some pics when I re-seal the motor. I think I will upgrade the brakes to B brakes when the motor goes in...

I think this is a cool ass early Pre-A looking engine, and that isn't easy machine work to make that happen. Also, not for nothing, it does have Porsche carbs, intake, and heads, and with a couple of other changes, it could look even better. Plus, it's going in a low-light Ghia, so it's a perfect complement to an already cool car.  Applause  Applause  Applause
