So if I buy that Bocar carb from you and the fuel inlet comes out and starts a fire, I can sue you personally or can I only sue your business entity?

Hey Marcel. Can I just buy a part and move on. And share my experience on the Buyer/Seller feedback forum? You got the goods but man, if i had restrictions on sharing my experience or freedom of speech, I’m out. By the way, I’ve sought out alternative sources for parts because some folks (Not on the Samba) said they had to agree to terms I’m not comfortable with. Maybe what they said was bullshit.
Can I just buy a part from you and get it. Just like any other part I buy from various online vendors and brick and mortar retailers? |

I never saw you had an LLC or other type of entity. Did you? Most states have restrictions on that so you have to make it obvious a customer is purchasing from one.

I never tried to controlled what people post in my feedback topic.
So... is it true that customers have to agree to certain terms before they can purchase? If so, please post these terms in your feedback so everyone knows before they contact you.

I used bosch distributor grease, along with genuine bosch rebuild parts only.

If you have a good core that's not a bad deal. It won't come back better than new but you will be very happy with it.
For the secondary carburetor you need if you need it only once buy a $60 amazon special. If you want a really good one get the Bocar unit. It's FACTORY NEW. It's made by the same factory that VW used.
Whatever you decide do not let your carburetor sit up for any long periods. They get clogged and need cleaning - both new and rebuilt can have this issue.
