curious if anyone has volumetric efficiency numbers for acvw’s ? Stock, built , preferably N/A than boosted.
According to one of the online engine calculators i use, to get a stock 1600, 59hp at 4400 rpm its VE is 70%. Granted this is rough guessing and a calculator that doesnt get all the variables but still thought it was interesting and made me curious if anyone has any real figures. _________________ "how am i supposed to torque the rear wheel nut to 250 ft lbs??? I was going to extract the calculations from known engines from the Datamite, -I thought. But my skills don´t cover that
So.
A 1600 stocker plus. 80 hp @ 4800. VE 84.
A nice built 1600. 110 hp @ 5700. VE 101.
A state of the art 2275 twin spark super street. 230 hp @ 7000. VE 112. _________________ https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=435993 |
