Who claims that we ARE sane?
Two weeks ago Mrs. Cusser somehow caught the plastic air dam of her 2014 Yukon on a parking block at Trader Joe's half an hour away. She got out and looked and it was partially torn off, so she tried to re-attach it. Never mind that she NEVER called me or even took photos of this part/damage. Anyway, once she returned home, she told me about this (yes - unbelievably the SAME day !!!) and the air dam was no longer there. That's not getting replaced, I looked online and most folks feel it does nothing, GM thinks it gains 0.05mpg....
It's always something !

Listen to reruns of "Car Talk" on NPR (while that still exists). Good marital advice with an automotive twist there.

Women think and respond to stimulus emotionally and men logically. We perceive the world around us very differently. There are two really good books that will help you navigate this difference.
For men itโs the care and feeding of your wife
For women itโs called (wait for it) yep you guessed it the care and feeding of your husband.
It explains a lot of what is in this thread.

Pick a girlfriend with values, that's funny and that is happy and bubbly, that way you won't have to deal with issues later in life. A good cook a big plus! We humans don't change. Also look at her parents, most women look for men that resemble their dad in character. If her dad is loving to her mom, she will expect the same treatment. Happily married to my high school sweetheart for 37 years. We DON'T respect each other, usually fear instills respect, we love each other and make each other laugh every single day.
