Cusser nice tin work I have done similar and added black paint and it almost disappears. I was fortunate enough to buy a diamond blue bug in 1970 brand new. My dad and I paid cash for it and it was a great feeling to drive that off the dealer lot. When I locate it I will post a photo of the window sticker on your page you'll get a kick out of it. Bob |

Bob - here's the bill of sale from my 1970, and I bought it from the folks listed.

Cusser the figure that comes to mind with my car was 1839 plus tax. I had the sapphire am radio. Leatherette interior, and the flared tailpipes as options. I have a good idea where I put the sticker and will send it to you when found. Bob |

I sprayed some black engine enamel on the tin "patch" this morning, good suggestion. _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each.
