TRUE LIFE ADVENTURE ZSIDO MY IDOL STORIES - OVAL WINDOW FUEL TANK DIPSTICK

Aloha Everybody, coming to you from Beautiful Hawaii Nei in Marvelous, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Searching on the Samba for an Oval Window Fuel Gauge is Like Searching for a Needle in a Hay Stack. Thus Brings Us to This Month's Story, "OVAL WINDOW FUEL TANK DIPSTICK".

I was Lucky to Find Some Affordable Samba Deals to Buy a Fuel Gauge for my 1956 VW Bug.

But for Whatever Reasons, I was Unlucky to Close the Deal and Buy the Fuel Gauge.

But the Best Awesome Deal that came True was from a Samba Seller that owns a Pizza Business by the name of Rubino's Pizza in Mission Viejo, California.

His name is Jay and if You're in Mission Viejo, California and you feel like Eating one of Jay's Pizzas, you can Check Out his Website, https://www.rubinospizza.biz

What's Unusual about this Deal was that Jay was helping out an Estate Sale of a Family Friend who was an Elderly Lady in her Early 90s that Past Way.

Apparently, this Lady owned a 356C Porsche and a Karmann Ghia. Hazet Tools and a Karmann Ghia Luggage Rack that Jay found in this Lady's House Attic were Parts that was Quickly Sold Before I Met Jay on the Samba.

Jay Sold me 2 VW Club of America Books that he Listed on the Samba and Later On, Jay Sold me a Bunch of Foreign Car Guide Magazines that I Bought as a Reference for the Restoration of my 1956 VW Bug, as well as, an Original VDO Catalog.

But the Most Treasured Item of all the Items that I Bought from Jay was an Oval Window Fuel Tank Dipstick that I Bought for $30.00.

As you can see in the Photos, it is Made by Garfield Products. You Read it on One Side if you have a VW that was Made Before 6-8-55 and you Read It on the Other Side if you have a VW that was Made After 6-8-55.

So I Didn't Buy my Oval Window Fuel Gauge but at least I have a Oval Window Fuel Tank Dipstick to tell me How Much Gas I have in my Fuel Tank.

"THANK YOU AGAIN JAY, I APPRECIATE YOUR OVAL WINDOW FUEL TANK DIPSTICK".

Until My Next "True Life Adventure Zsido My Idol Stories", I Say to You, "OKAY THEN, LATERS".
