I'm new to The Samba and this is my first post. Hope I'm doing it right.
Excited new 1966 VW beetle owner here...The images below are what I have for windshield wiper arms and I'm confused as to how I attach them. Looks like I'm missing a piece/ or they're the wrong arms. Can anybody help?

Those most likely are antique Anco wiper arms, missing the adapter parts. Probably best to get stock VW wiper arms or at least the repro of those. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

As Eric&Barb pointed out that they are a common aftermarket wiper arm that is missing the adapters to install them. The adapters went on the wiper shafts, then the wiper arms fit onto adapter.
The other problem is that the arms are for 1964 and older Beetles with that flat windshield. 1965 and newer Bugs have a curved windshield and need wipers that fit to the contours, like seen on newer cars but shorter.
Here is a link to new arms and blades. _________________

It’s 12V
I ended up ordering the wiper arms/ blades from the link above. They did the trick! |

Good! Once you use them in the rain, do check that they are still torqued down. After that they should be OK. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |
