Special for the owner of L380 turquoise and L391 pastel blue 1961 bugs:

A company can make a reproduction of the VW 1961 and 1962 cloth material for seat covers. The reference is the P216 Turquoise.

Here is the sample of the cloth material on the left:

They can also reproduce the ice blue leatherette with the good grain.

The minimum order is 10 yards at about $95 per yard. I can't buy it alone as I am still student

That's why I ask: "Who is interested in buying such material for your seat covers? maybe we can buy it as a groupe or something like that? or maybe I can have a better price if I give him a potential customers list.

Or maybe it already exist?

Hi, the costs for a reproduction are mainly driven by the setup costs. I am waiting for a final quote! I never found a coloured handle or intact rubber mat. I bought a repro mat and a paint shop sprayed it. Works well since almost ten years.
