Ironic the photo on the cover for Vintage Volkswagen Club of AMERICA features what is likely an Aussie vehicle (Type 3 badge, RHD)!
I love it!
I registered, even though we lack a local affiliated club now. The access to the online newsletter didn't allow me to see it, and I don't see any login button. But maybe that takes a little while to get set up? I'll try later... _________________ Current Fleet:

Yup, that's been one of my complaints with the VVCA, in that they treat us type 3 owners like 2nd class citizens. I've been to a few shows, where we had to park way away from the rest of the show. At one show (at VW headquarters in Auburn Hills MI) we had to park among the new VWs on the lot, as there wasn't ANY designated type 3 section.
And yes, that orange Fastback certainly looks like an Aussie Fastback to me too. Between the Aussie type 3 badges and stripes, to the RHD. It looks like it's a 71 or 72 to me. Don't get me wrong, I do like how nice it looks, but you should have used KTPil's car, as it's a similar color, and is LHD in California. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Those are Morgan Ingmire's matching Fastback and Squareback. The Square is even rught-hand drive as it was his parents car in Australia if I remember correctly. _________________ Later,

They should have included the Accessory Basset Hound in the photo! _________________ Current Fleet:
