Went for an after work hike , drove the Baja down to the trailhead. Kinda cool, there is a tight banked corner that feels sketchy in my Jeep, the Baja didn’t flinch.

A hike? You drove a Baja to the place to go for a hike? Isn't that what the Baja is for? So you don't have to hike? The only hikes I take when I'm out off roading in my Rat Rod Trail Rail, are you find a convenient Cactus to to empty my onboard holding tank.

All funning aside: That place looks cool. Where is it?

Well I bring the hiking boots in case I have to walk home!

This is the Behind the Rocks area of Moab, it has tons of double track and then some super gnarly 4x4 stuff. But hidden among that, tons of hiking and biking.

Ya know...
There are some times I REALLY wish Samba had a thumbs up button.
I can always do this:
Thumbs Up
But that's a relatively new addition.

I really like that part of Utah. Down through Monticello, Blanding and all of that.

Monticello and Blanding are great areas, I do a lot of hiking and biking out that way.

Ran into town to get gas, ran into my friend and his baja and did a little trail ride on the way home.

I'm jealous.

But to make up for not driving my Baja on Moab trails this weekend, I watched a couple of new videos on YouTube of offroading on Moab trails from Rory Irish at TrailMater.
Cool

That Trailmater dude makes some entertaining videos!
I went to that spot to hike in this canyon, it was great, this is about as good as the colors get in a canyon bottom.

Funny that his current shop is right up the road from the townhouse we rented for 10 days last time we went to Moab in 19. I keep seeing the townhouse complex in his videos.

The weather was amazing yesterday, I had to run into town for a hair cut, why not take the baja? A detour might have happened on the way home.

My wife told me she was going to run a marathon from the front door, so I drove around dropping off water and snacks. The baja did amazing.
