Hey!
My bus was originaly painted in neptune blue. I'm doing a total restauration at the moment, and i'm wondering if I should paint the dashboard neptune blue aswell, since this war original on the early buses.
Can someone show me some pictures of their neptune blue dashboards please?

The European bays had no dash padding/vinyl. Black painted steel is stock.
It can be misleading because the smooth body coloured dash thing has been done to death on restos for years.

I have an Irish Neptune Blue pickup, 1978. Here is the dashboard, which is painted black and has no padding:
To my knowledge, it was black from the factory. The finish is not smooth, but has a slight pebbly texture.

Very early Euro bay's had body color dashes, later ones had dull greyish black and the pebbly finish came along ~74-75 I think.

"Dull greyish black" is also called Tiefdunkelgrau and has the color code RAL 9011
