Question here , I had an old battery that went dead , it was an ACDelco group 42 and I replaced it with a 26r. Now tha car started right up but sounds weird like the starter is spinning too much or whining I guess you could say . Seams to start with a lot less cranks too . Like too fast if you will if that makes sense . Any ideas? Maybe sticking ignition switch? Thanks

Maybe the difference is having a new battery vs having an almost dead one that you just got used to. I run an AC Delco top and side post battery in my own car. I can't remember the group number though, but I also have a couple of side post vehicles (GM's) around here which allows me to move it around and keep it charged. Wink
