Hoping for a shot way up north Idaho at priest lake. Got a sweet spot on the river with access to the lake.
Kinda mixed sun and clouds though currently. _________________ __________

We're waiting with bated breath in Bonners Ferry but totally overcast and thunderstorming so chances look slim.
What river are you at? Is it the connector between the upper and lower lake? That is some beautiful and wild country! _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |

Overcast with drizzle here in MN, no change expected tonight. Can’t win ‘em all…

We had planned to drive out to some nearby dark country for the view as aurora are so fun to see.
But, the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center backed way off on the forecast visibility for Indiana.
So instead, we declared a no-drive night and celebrated Prosecco Thursday on the front porch with some friends. _________________ The Syncro years (2005-16) - The 2WD years (2017-23) - In Hoosierland (2023-now)

I spent the night jumping as high as I could with a light bug net but no success. _________________ 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🍊 🍊 🍊 |

Looks like another CME happened yesterday, we are experiencing the highest level of the energy storm right now, level Kp index of 8. The storm is swift, but should still be Kp 7 after dark this evening (central time)!!
Hope your skies are clear in the Northern hemisphere
