Stock box or a rack? Stockish spindles or combos? Shouldn't be too hard to measure yourself. Measure thrice, cut twice, then splice. Some bungs, some tubing, and a couple hours should get em done. But I haven't been without a welder since the 80's.

70 Squareback
Extension 11"/3.5" drop
8" wider linkpin
Shock towers Directly outside body
Bug box (large taper tie rods from the top)
Quick steer kit

Modified tie rods already

deciding on Box Shaft/ Steering Column angles at ride height

I can measure tow in (it's not about the alignment of the tires to each other)
It's also finding a Clear CenterPoint to measure from

I believe I have a correct Stock length
Need anyone w/a 7-8" wider linkpin to simply measure center to center on the extended tie rods

Or confirm that simply adding half the extended width length to each tie rod also works

Sounds like you're going to have to do the measurements yourself. You have a specific setup, that few active members have. I'd assume most who're running a beefier steering setup are using heim-joints not larger traditional style rod-ends.

Center your box, center your wheels. Install the rod-ends and measure between the threads. Leaving enough exposed threads for Toe adjustments later.

While you're at it, make two sets. One pair as backup for repairs.

Cut, weld, paint, bang, boom, done.

You can make a mockup pair out of pvc first if you're worried.

That's why I was looking for a STOCK link pin tie rod measurement

Or anyone that hasn't 8-in over wide link pin

And can give me a measurement from the holes where the tie rods go

Yes I'm doing measurements myself but it would be nice to have a starting point

so you essentially have a stock LP beam set up, just 8" wider..? or does your "extension 11"/ 3.5 drop" mean you have 11" of travel? and 3.5" of droop? or are you running 3.5" drop spindles? if its 11" of travel then your not running stock arms ... and id really find it hard to believe you'd get 11" of travel with a stock box in the stock location, even center mounting the stock box does not lend itself well to that much travel without bumpsteer.
or is the beam extended out 11"? and dropped 3.5?
did you build this frontend?
several people told you how to do this yet you seem insistent on STOCK length ( notice how I capitalized that, like you did?) which btw really comes across as shouting "stock" at Schepp like he wasn't giving the answer you were looking for and your upset about it, at least thats how I interpreted it...
and stock length isn't going to tell you shit anyhow, its not just about adding 4" to each one because you beam is 8" wider. the wider beam should allow more travel because of the lesser amount of angle on the tie rods and less bump steer, so thats a factor. along with your arms, spindles, placement of box, death quickener - I mean steering quickener haha. seriously though, those are great if you dont like your fingers.
all that is so far from stock that it make the stock length irrelevant and thats why your not getting the answers your looking for. id tell you id measure a set for you but of the 7 Buggys at my shop right now, I dont think 1 has stock LP set up. but one might , but I really think its BJ.. I'll look tomorrow and see and if it is measure them for you. just dont be yelling at ppl anymore FFS

My Rat Rod Trail Rail has an eight over front end. It was what I had so I used it and it's worked out fine. What I did not have, were any kind of lengthened tie rods but I did have stock ones.

I cut the stock ones in half, made sleeves from steel rod and tube, slid it all together and mounted it up. Then I did a rough wheel alignment, centered the sleeves and welded/pinned it all together. A good wheel alignment later and it has held up just fine to many hours sliding down into Arroyo's and running old mining trails.
