1970 Karmann Ghia Coupe Weight

I weighted my 1970 Karmann Ghia Coupe today, using 8-330lb analog bathroom scales, which were $10 each at Walmart. Car is all stock, with a gas heater installed above the transaxle. Gas tank was almost empty.

Creative solution
Very close to the dry weight listed for my 67 vert at 1,851 lbs.
It really illustrates the front to rear weight bias.

FYI, you can find "CAT" scales at several locations.
I've used them to check the weight on our motorhome to make sure I'm not overloaded.

Interesting that if I add weight for a full tank of gas in the spreadsheet I get the 60%/40% weight distribution that I've seen quoted in various places.
