And welded the A-pillar parts in place.
Then I did some small repairs on the passenger front frame horn.

A lot of thinking about which parts I can weld in now while still being able to reach the areas that still need work, and which panels go over which… so not much progress at the moment.

The work from the last days: I cut out the left inner and outer rocker, the outriggers, and found a lot of nuts inside!
Did some small repairs on the frame (I’ll have to work there later from the inside, which already gives me a bit of a headache…)
And I put some NOS and KF parts back where they should be.

Today I fabricated the two left lower pillars using a NOS pillar as a template and welded them in place.
Then I closed the big axe hole in the left side panel.

Got a driver-side 4-piece dogleg from KF delivered — the old one is unfortunately too far gone.

For the next step I cut out one of the old beams under the passenger floor and replaced it with a new one.

Hard and fast work with great precision. Nice to see so much progression on this Barndoor in the last few weeks. With this tempo you'll probably driving this bus coming summer, in time for HO2026.
