Are the front seats interchangable? I got a new bus over the weekend and the driver seat is hammered. Can I just take them off the rail and swap them?

I did it when I restored my seats: the driver's seathad no stuffing and the springs were softer so I swapped seats while I did the resto. I left them swapped afterwards so the passenger seat gets it's share of wear over the next 25 years.

Ratwell, I read and saw the pictures that you had done this on the web site. I could see you stripped the seats down all the way. Did you do those one at a time? So you would have one to drive with? Was it a weekend project?

Just want to make sure, when removing the drivers side seat, do I need to remove steering wheel or anything? Or is there enough clearance space?

At that time I can just slide the passenger seat off and onto the drivers rail system. Is that right?

THanks Ratwell.
