hey gabsy
treat you like a son!
nice pics in the gallery
(that's an og headliner & og seats in a fantastic cardinal red 59 by the way - and a GMH05 participant's goodie bag btm right)
apologies - my camera is poor
still, my birthday is coming up...
outside diameter is approx 63mm/63.5mm
inner diameter is approx 20mm
2 x small holes are approx 5mm, seem off centre
the centre of these 2 small holes are approx 15mm from the overall label centre
'ZU' and 'AUF', with arrows
not sure of the font type!
thin white card (thickness of a birthday card?)
mine is whiter than the one in top pic
black print
unless someone posts a better picture, i could take a scan of my '67 label for you tomorrow - this will probably come out much better
or i could post you a photocopy?
(can you make a few?? i for one would like one, & there are others i'm sure...)
best regards

I assume that 58 cabrio's had this also correct? Are there any repro's out there. I suppose I can touch up the scans and resize.

craig, i think they could have been on all cabs up to when the winder mechanism changed?
so I would take a pretty good guess that your 58 should have one
as i say, mine was off a 67
the cardinal red is a 59, and its interior was very og
John Figg's amazon cab has one fitted (59)
maybe they survived a little better on european cars
i don't think there are currently any repros out there _________________ -StockRocks- |

Hi Mr Rock Stock,
My RHD 1963 ( 64 Model Year) had an English version! I remember it well, however I don't know if I kept it. I am sure it said Open and Close. _________________ 1957 Rometsch Beeskow
