I will need to have my dune buggy inspected to register it in Kansas and they will check the frame number against the title. I would like to check it myself first to make sure there is no surprise. It is supposed to be a 1966 VW. Any idea where to look? Thanks.

I am really going to be in trouble if they ask to inspect mine.

Since my new Berrian tub kit included a tube frame and fiberglass floor I just went ahead and cut the number off my old rusted out pan and spot welded it to the metal cover plate that covers the shift cupling and screwed that down to the plastic tunnel.

I am sure glad I had the 5 year plates on the old one and don't require inspection for renewal.
