t-handle shifter install on 67

I havel one of those t-handle shifters with lockout that is new, and would like to put it in my 67. My question is, I don't have the shifter plate that goes with it. Is this plate the same as a stock one? Thanks!

my berg one has a plate simular to stock one. a hurst style trigger dont use one tho'

You didn't say it was a Berg shifter so I will assume it is a cheapo,in which case the stock vw lockout plate is used
