My son and I have 2 Avengers and 1 Bradley GT. I'm looking for a manufacturer of stock size square tube frames. I've contacted Berrien, and they say they wil probably be making one next year. I was hoping to get started a little earlier, but I guess I can wait if I have to. Any suggestions out there? Thanks for the help. |

Funbodies seems to have what I am looking for. I asked for some info about front ends and frame sizes, too. This frame is fabbed from round tubing, may not be as strong as square. May be able to find a true square tube frame also. Thanks for the help! |

I'm not really sure what you've been reading but if square tubing is stronger then why doesn't anynone use it?Sand rails, baja cars, monster trucks all use round.Just curious where your info came from. |

Cage and tube frame are 2 different animals. Strength isnt the issue. I'd find a square tube frame also if I was building a kit car. The examples you gave were all cage based vehicles. _________________ The honey-do list put my project on hold.......

Maybe i'm wrong but the rts chassis looks more stout to me. maybe the application is wrong. the Berrien chassis looks good also. There used to be a guy on here selling a pretty nice looking square tube chassis but i couldn't find the ad.

I contacted Berrien, and they said they are considering a stock square tube frame in the spring. They are also coming out with a new body style. I am thinking about waiting until then. Thanks for all the help. We will keep you posted! |
