Has anyone had any experience with the $155 cranks that are in the classifieds.
They seam really cheap and im kind of worried about there reliability. |

I think you have to buy 5 to get them at that price. They're probably the same Chinese cranks that you've probably seen going for around $230-270 here. Remember you get what you pay for...
Go DMS or DPR welded counterweight and sleep well at night... _________________ Richard Sedoris - VW Performance & Machine - Youngstown, OH

There are not many people making forged cranks. THe only thing to note is that is is 4140 instead of the 4340. I wonder who is doing the final machining to make sure they are straight and balanced. I would consider it for a mild build. |

on the 84 mm cranks, 4340 is mentioned. but what does that really mean to the consumer other than a higher number or just another selling point? for a mild build, 9 to 1 compresion or under may just fit the bill. straightness, well, that would have to be checked out thats for sure. _________________ 1967 Deluxe Sedan |

Anyone knows if roller cranks are still being made?
And who supplies them? |
