What kind of dune buggy is it?

My friend has a dune buggy, and is trying to determine what make it is. It's similar to a Manx, it has a raised ridge line down the center of the hood and a scoop type thing on either side of the ridge. I don't have a picture up yet, problem with sending from camera phone.
