Hmm...naaaah. I think thats a 71-ish bus. By the look of the rear intake vents....which changed slightly in 1972 I think? Due to the T4 engine installation.
Even 71' Had the small 5x112 hole pattern...which can limit your choices of wheels to run, OR give you more choices: depending on how you look at it.
There are piles and piles of relatively affordable Alloy wheels for the 5x112 pattern - but none are a cool vintage wheel, they're all modern stuff, and some look cool. Some dont.
It all depends... .
Oh! Wolfgang Int. sells the adapter for putting 5x205 wheels on your 5x112 bus. Like $120 a pair though. _________________

HOly CRap! The GasBurners are available in 5x112?
Probably not to US in the US....unless you pay $300 in shipping.
Damned Damn though. I recently learned that the GasBuRnErs are officially the coolest wheel ever made. God Told me so.

Here's my stupid Audi wheels I bought, they were cheap.

Yeah...thats very VERY good. GB's rock.
I had to count some pennies though, and the bill for my 16" Audi wheels with brand new tires bolted on is less than $800.
$1k for the wheels alone is out of my budget now...someday.... _________________

This bus is very cool! I didn't think custom wheels fit in the rear of a bay, with or without an adapter. I thought they stuck out too far and rubbed, at least the 5 x 205 pattern... _________________ ---

the really bad part is after you lower it. To get anything wider than about a 5" wide wheel off you have to remove the lower shock bolt.
The wheel is tucked waaaay up under there and you jack the thing up and the rear trailing arm doesn't drop down far enough to get the wheel out.
I can barely get the bug wheels off the back of my Single cab and they're 4.5" wide. There's probably a secret I dont know about though, and all the neighbors laugh at me.. _________________

I assume you meant a lowered bay? Or do all "custom" wheels rub? _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN
