|
|
I did a google search and came up empty...
I am looking to replace the windshield rubber that sits between the windshield frame and fiberglass body on a Manx style buggy.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance. |

Couple of options...
If you have time to let it cure, SIKAFLEX works cool if you're good at tooling and fitting caulk type products... this is what holds the windows in skyscrapers.
Other option is stopping by a boat parts store... they have the stuff to fit many profiles. _________________ Dub Infested- PART WI$H LI$T-CLICK |

Look under raw material and springs. I have bought various pieces of rubber, polyuerothene, etc from them in the past. You should be able to easily find a strip in the size you want, most likely even with an adhesive backing if that floats your boat. _________________ 1993 RX7 pT-67 .81 a/r

I sent an email
To: [email protected]
AND got a return email back today...
Rick,
Thanks for writing.
Yes, we carry the windshield bottom rubber seperately. A 44" piece is $8 + shipping. We also sell the glazing vinyl, which goes between the frame & the windshield glass.
Kathy
I will give them a call tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for the replies, I could always silicone it BUT I tend to put things back to or better than the factory and since I must sell this after I get it back together(hate to sell it BUT have a house in the works)I want it as clean looking as possible for the next owner. |
