As everybody knows Postage in the U.S. is going up .02 today to .39 for a first class letter.

I would like to hear from people in other countries how much postage do you pay to mail a letter.

I know there Samba members from Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Germany etc....

Ooooh, good topic! I'll be watching this one. I bet we (U.S.P.S.) still have the lowest cost, if not, damn close! We also move way more mail than any other postal service!

Here's some old rates, back in 1996 when it was 32¢ here in the USA. Little out of date, but I'm sure the comparison is still valid:

Has that been converted to U.S. cents? If not, it makes no sense. Shocked

yes, it was all converted to the equivalent in US cents. So it actually makes perfect sense Very Happy Just remember, it's a few years old. Does that make sense? We should probably have a census just to see if everyone senses this. Hopefully, no one will want to cense this area, because that just makes no sense as it would cost more than a few cents.

Then you should light your incense and cense your home. That way you won't be sent away by the scent.

I was in Krasnadar Russia in October and sent a card home to California and the postage was 20 rubles which is 'bout 70 cents in USA. It took that card 5 weeks to get here. Didn't see one VW Bug anywhere in Russia!!!

in Czech Republic, Europe, we are at 0.33USD for a standard letter. Keep in mind that the average salary here is around 800USD per month.
