This voltage regulator is on my 78 Westy. It works fine, and charges my dual battery setup no problem. I'm just curious about the manufacturer, and what vehicle it may be from originally. Local auto electrical shops couldn't tell me, or identify the symbol or part number.
The wiring to it is that the light green wire goes to terminal 67, my blue and red wires are connected together and both go to terminal 15 (blue then goes forward to the alt wng light). The brown wire goes to ground.

Lastly, you just referred to US citizens as 'Americans'. Exactly what kind of Canadian are you? From what continent? |

Oops, I was so busy trying to get the images to work properly that I forgot to mention: 2.0 L, FI, with Bosch 70 amp alternator. _________________ Darryl

actually, all watercooled vw's should have internal voltage regulators as VW went to that in, I believe, 74? which is when they started producing the watercooleds. _________________ Without love in the dream it will never come true |
