hey guys and gals,this weekend i will be looking at a 1971 westy in
what im told is physically great shape,no rust great paint,and remodled interior and new canvas,it has a 68 corvair engine and auto trans in that is supposed to run great ,i know nothing of these conversion and from what ive read is supposed to be a good combo!can i have some feedback on anyone who has had any experience or someone close to you who has?
also there is no heat ,im not talking about the crappy normal heat but with this conversion there is nothing hooked up! is a regular gas heater
still available with this set up?but im not framilar with those heaters but would think they would be!this is all supposed to be have done proffessionally and seems to be a nice camper,but i thought i would get some advice from the samba gang!thanks,mike |

This is the same bus discussed in another thread. Lovely looking body in the pics, but I would not consider the Corvair engine.
