anybody heard of chuck rohner, from chuck's oil co.?
i found an 10 y.o. napa receipt in my bus which gives the best lead on the previous owners of my 69 sunroof. as of '03 he was alive and in the baker city paper - the only googleable info on him. i bought the bus at auction in '04 across the state. _________________ When you cross an Irishman, they never forget. ronnie, thanks for helping him out, very cool of you to take the time, but I edited your post since it contained personal information on a 3rd party.

I've been to Baker City. Not much there, it's a small town at best, not really a City. Full-on farm country. _________________ Phillip Bradfield

lol. why yes i'd stake my neighbor's cat collection on it. its the only real flaw in an otherwise perfectly kooky vw tourist scene. _________________ When you cross an Irishman, they never forget. I mean, never. |

call me old fashioned, but if I got a San Francisco postcard from a strange man I didn't know . . . well, you might give him the wrong idea about why you're looking for him. |

don't look away, its an old fashioned bowel moving story called brokeback bus. its going to have transgender midgets, acrobats, and all kinds of ass-backward twists wait until he finds out what the auction house did for his og crankshaft... could be a two hankie movie picture. _________________ When you cross an Irishman, they never forget. That's wasn't very nice of you sending that postcard of Lombard street.
I've spent some time in Baker City. If you lived there you might not want a reminder that there are much better places in the world than Baker City. I hope nobody on the forum lives in Baker. I'll never hear the end of it.
A postcard from Detroit or Beiruit may have been more uplifting for him. |
