I have been scammed $250 by precious-parts.com, Ramon Fabie Jaime and Joanna Jaime. This is a warning to all that are considering buying parts. DONT DO IT! The deal was $150 for the sliding panel door and $100 to ship from the Philippines to my home in Arizona. Plus a $30 wire transfer to their bank, so at this point I am out $280 with no door. It turns out the door made it to Sky Harbor Airport, with an additional bill of $215 in order to recieve the door, and starting today they are adding late fees, plus I have to go pick it up. Precious parts have not returned my email. Do your self a favor and keep your precious money. They will shoot you a low price and then you will end up with a huge freight bill, so you will be paying double the price of what they told you. These people can not be trusted. Dont be a sucker like me! As for the door it will probaly be the governmets property, I am not going to pay more money and find out its the wrong part or damaged. You have been warned, DO NOT ORDER FROM PRECIOUS PARTS!

They are the ones that said it would be delivered to my door for $100, He claims to have 100,000 parts in stock, so he should get a good deal on shipping and be able to give an exact price. Plus I paid American Dollars, which is probaly worth alot more than their currency. If you look at his prices it will say,. best offer, U.S. Dollar. Save your precious money, Dont be scammed by precious-parts.com, Joanna Jaime, or Ramon Fabie Jaime. |

This will now serve as a warning to everyone else when dealing with these people.
If you could please add their email address they used to communicate with you it would further help out when searching for their 'rep' here in the Feedback section.
Thanks,

The email address they used to communicate to me is [email protected] They wont even return emails, They got some of my money, dont let them get yours. Never got the door, still at the airport, the government will own it on Feb 10th. By the way there is no tax or duty fee due ,because of the low purchase price of the door. They want an additional $215 for shipping, on top of the $100 that was already paid for shipping (pre paid). What a scam. |

Mark that sucks As a freight Manager I wish I had known you where going into this deal I could have warned you the Philippines are one of the worst places in the world to bring parts in from The people there for the most part are good people untill it comes to money. As for freight their customs agents all want and expect bribes I could have possibly got the real cost but it would have been 200 or so the 100 they charge is profit they probably then sent it freight collect. It sucks you got screwed by those assholes _________________ FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER!!

Thanks Fastbackdon, for the insight. I am waiting for pecious-parts.com to read and respond to this thread. They wont even email me back. This would be a great site for a debate, and for them to step up to the plate and defend themselves. When they respond I will post all the email between precious-parts.com and I. Dont let them scam you, like they did me! Save your Precious Money! |

What is the reason for the extra charge? By this I mean don't guess, assume the freight was paid for overseas and what is the actual reason given by the freight company in Phoenix?

Hello and good day to you Sir. I write to you this email to clarify some
issue in regards to one of our clients who happened not very satisfied for
our service and putting all the messages on the BUYER AND SELLER section.
He Mr. Mark Michels ordered one pc. of NOS VW Sliding Door Panel from us
with the part number 211-843-106-P the price is US$ 150.00 and the shipping
charges is US$ 100.00 Mr. Mark Michels wired the amount of US$ 250.00 the
Total cost of the Panel and shipping.(Port to Port)
After we received his wire transfer on January 24, 2006 we followed the
shipping and send the cargo to AZ by air via NIPPON EXPRESS PHILIPPINES
CORPORATION and we paid for the shipping charge for his cargo the amount of
US$ 246.32 with the airway bill no: NPP 3209-7273 and now the cargo arrived
in AZ but the cargo company want another US$ 215.00 for door to door
delivery to Mr.Mark Michels house and he want us to pay for that charges
which is I guess it is too much for us to pay more for that knowing that we
did not earn for the part alone and ended up paying too much for the
shipping charges.
Mr. Mark Michels is very upset for this and posting lots of messages on your
forum trying to destroy our credibility as a seller even he mention the name
of my late husband Mr. Ramon Dominador Fabie Jaime a Scammer, too much to
included here an innocent dead person who never been involve in this
transaction.
We apologize for our mistakes my only fault is we did not charge him for
COLLECT instead.
I write it to you just let you know the whole story and also to let you know
our side here. Mr. Mark Michels are now claiming that we are scam and fraud
company which is very untrue. we are honest people here and not in our
intentions to scam anybody.
Again I apologized for my fault and thank you for your time reading this
email.
Respectfully Yours,

Mark was the deal port to port? do you have an e-mail record of the freight agreement? If it was PORT TO PORT then they are right If you have an e-mail on freight stating DOOR TO DOOR then you are right
DOOR TO DOOR is what it sounds like I.E from their door to your front door
It is more likley they shipped Door to port their door to your port I.E. Airport _________________ FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER!!

Below is the corrispondence I had with precious parts for purchase and delivery of the door. I had given my address twice and there was no mention of port to port delivery until it arrived in phoenix. There is no tax or duty charge, only more shipping fees, which should have been covered in this contract. I can't believe they would bother selling this door to only make $3.68. Her letter is right she did make some big mistakes. As for her mentioning her deceased husbands name being used by me, how am I supposed to know about that, there the ones still usind his name for the e-mail and thats how I got the name.
The bottom up is the beginning of the corrispondence.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The company really charging too much for that cargo. I am already paid to them the amount of US$ 246.32 the amount of US$ 250.00 you have wired to me is all goes to the shipping company and that is only from port of origin to port of destination.
I'm very sorry for this matter, but I can't pay more for extra delivery, as I don't earn for the parts at all.
Sincerely,
Joanna Jaime

The door you sent is held up in customs because there is money owed for shippig and fees. The shipping company wants another $215. The deal was that it was to be shipped to my home, let me know when, or how you will take care of this problem, Mark Michels.

Mark two things
1) customs dosent hold freight if there are transportation charges the airlines do customs could care less about freight charges they only want to know what is comming into the states
2) In my eyes your the winner you gave them your home address they shipped door to port and with your home address they know it is not the airport they should have provided all cost you in my mind have a case sadly they are in the Phillipines so what are the chances of getting your money refunded NO CHANCE sorry dude I sure wish it would turn out better damn after the fact If you try to buy from another country in the future contact me 1st thats an expensive lesson I would like to see them step up to the plate on this or even challenge me on what happened _________________ FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER!!

Sounds to me like this lady is as crooked as they come. I don't believe this lady/saleswoman/widow is honest at all. And by her own admission mistakes were made but she offers you no solution. Why is she still conducting business under her deceased husband's name and/or e-mail address? She should take care of those legalities and go out of her way to make the business honorable and respectful in her husbands memory if she wants to play that card. That way, when there is a problem like this the customer isn't lead to believe they are conducting business with a living person who is in fact dead. Pretty decieving. When I read that her husband had died, I automatically thought what a cheap, degrading, pathetic way to try to use sympathy in an attempt to make Mark and all of us readers feel sorry for her as though it were some kind of justification for fraudulant business practices. Either her husband taught her to run the business like that or she is a crook of her own making. And if she isn't making any money or doesn't want to do the business it would be more respectful to her late husband to sell off the business and walk away. |

The $215 that is due, is for shipping fees to release the door from customs, this info comes from Yukie at Nippon Express. Yukie also said the $215 does not include delivery to my home. So that means precious parts is lying when they say the $215 is for shippment to my house, and not shipping fees. They also lied when they said shipping was port to port, the first time anything was mentioned about port to port was when it arrived at Sky harbor International Airport. They also admit to making mistakes, I dont beleive these are mistakes, this is the way they do buisness. Dont fall for their shipping tricks, it could double the amount of the original Agreement/Contract. I bet they wont respond back, because their scam is now open for the whole world to see. Still waiting for my door, but I know I wont get it, spread the word, save your precious money, dont order from pecious-parts.com |

Does she really expect us to believe she is only making a little over $3? And even if she was, both parties appeared to be in agreement. She should have either refundeed the money saying that the deal was not profitable enough to do or pay the extra money herself to make the deal right, that is the right thing to do at this point. She should step up and make it right no matter what the cost, its just the cost of doing business sometimes. I see you did provide your home address and it appears they just okie-doked you. It is obvious they took advantage of you knowing that once they got your money you had no recourse and it would be your problem. They obviously ship all the time and knew the position they were putting you in. Her one reponse that admits fault and offers no solution was a very poor attempt of making you look like the bad guy. If this situation wasn't so sad It would be funny ! Seriously though, I don't think she will correct this situation. From her one response you can tell she is a liar and uses other people as escape goats, even dead people . |

in the e-mail correspondence that you posted, the vendor states "Shipping Cost: US$ 100.00 Via Nippon Express Air Cargo to Arizona. " no mention of home delivery.
then in further correspondence, the vendor states "Nippon Company in the USA will inform you after your shipment has been arrived in the US. " If it was being delivered to your door, the shipper would not have to notify you when it arrived in the US.
At this point, you should have clarified the issue- is it being delivered to you or do you have to pick up at port of entry?
I don't see fraud here, but i do see miscommunication. Often overseas vendors do not understand the expectations of american customers. American customers assume that delivery will be door to door. Foreign vendors have their own frame of reference- usually, especially in the pacific rim, door to door delivery is unheard of. _________________ OG JHC

On the other hand she never mentions port to port either. I still see it Mark's way as the way she wrote it he would be advised when it arrived in the US and AZ appears to be for tracking purposes, not delivery. I also see in your correspondence you asked, "How long will it take to ship from you to me?" That clearly indicates from there place of business to your address. You asked that question and she had days to answer it. But no, she sent the door out first and then answered the day after it was gone with a vague misleading response. I also see you provided your home address and a phone number. I just think she knew that the door wouldn't sell if you knew the full price of shipping. Seriously, it looks like she has a few of these bay window panel doors and just wants to move them because there isn't a big demand for them. This lady signs her correspondece "General Manager", what a joke she should send all your money back including those extra fees or take care of the shipping charges which at this point would be cheaper then the refund. I am highly suspicious of this company and their business practices. |

I forgot to mention that if there is any miscommunication I would say it is deliberate miscommunication on the part of Pecious Parts. Call it what you want, I call it lying. She has already admitted fault and then used excuses to try and wash it away. She just needs to do the right thing at this point and complete the deal at her cost. Its the cost of doing business, its the cost of lying. |

There is only one reason that I gave them my address, and that was for delivery, not for them to put me on their Xmas card list! The statement, "Nippon Express Company in th USA will inform you after your shipment has been arrived in the USA", this was written after I paid and after it was shipped. They should have been honest and e-mailed me in the beginning, that the door was $150 and the shipping was $315 port to port. So, money in the door would be $150, $30 for wire transfer, $315 for shipping, port to port, for a grand total of $495. If I would have known that, I would have got the door from Kona in Nampa Idaho, for $350 (thats his asking price). I would have offered him $250, if he said no, I would have waited for another door to show up on the samba. My friends father lives in Nampa, and comes down quite often, so delivery would have been free. I beleive they sent it freight collect, it could not of been paid in full if there is still a bill. They gave me their prices, I paid, I want my door. If they lose money that is there problem. You notice they have not commented on the freight issue. All this and they made three dollars, they still owe $215 on freight, and I did not get my door, so I am out $280, including wire transfer. Don't waste your time or money with precious parts.com |

I would Imagine the 215 owed would be customs fee's duties/taxes I usally move Aircraft parts(CIVIL) no duties or taxes just usally a .2% fee against the value but auto parts are dutiable and cost damn an expensive lesson learned _________________ FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER FUCK CANCER!!
