they were based in kensington-philadelphia, pa. they were made from 71 to 91.
it was one of the better made buggys. some options were full soft tops in white and black with side curtains and a rear engine cover.
all this info is in the dune buggy handbook by james hale. pp 30-31.

Hi,
I bet you bought the undrilled white one that has been floating around for awhile. I have seen three people own it and non of them build it. Strange.

I have one that was an NOS crated body kit with everything with it top doors side pods seats everything. Gas fillers were NOT included with the kits.
They were optional as to what type you wanted to use.

My kit was 100% complete and still in the box.
I have bunch of litterature and even the original assembly manuals.
I have extra of them available too.
The assmebly book and the chassis shortening book usually go for $20 on ebay give or take.

My photos are online at the Texas Manx Club site! Thanks.

No no no no.
She just looks that way in the shade.
That si the best part of her, the metalflake glossy gelcoat that was in a crate in the attic for 30 plus years.

From what I can tell originally bought in 1972.

Closer look at the gelcoat.

Wow. In your first picture, the body looks copper. In the second, nice and red.

I'd sell my Grandmother into prostitution for an original Gel-Coat that looked like that. Unreal.
