do you know what a transaxle sounds like when it's about to go? if so, let me know so that I can decide whether to laugh or cry if this giant coffee-maker sound persists after I change my cv boots and lube up the sonofabitch.
thanks
Luke

listen for a contant "clicking" sound, especially when doing slow tight circles. the noise will be much louder if your nuts bolting the joint up are loose are if the are worn very bad. if the sound was not present before you did the work, go back and make sure you have torqued the bolts correctly.
