While manually turning the engine I can hear a pssssss like sound from what seems to be coming from the #4 head. Is this caused by valves being too loose? |

You have 4 heads on your motor? Not really it's just squeezing the air and then letting it out. That's what it sounds like to me. Do a compression check to be sure. _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.

I was hoping it's normal but It only seems to be coming from the compression of one piston rather than all four. I will definately get a hold of a compression tester. |

I get that sound also. It changes over time and it migrates all over the engine. I do believe it has something to do with the way your rings rotate and occasionally line up and then rotate past that point. Not to worry.

correct me if I am wrong, But your rings should not be rotating after they have set, right?
