I don't see why you should call this counterfeit. Nowhere is stated that this is a real Judson, heck I think he even never talks about Judson at all.
This is more like what I would call a replica. Nothing wrong with that.
Unless you're afraid of prices of the real stuff dropping like a brick. But look at Berms, you can't exactly say that since they where replicated the prices have gone down? _________________ Svenska Bubbla |

Where you really run into problems is when someone tries to use these reproduction parts to rebuild a genuine Judson. Could be bad news. _________________ 49 Deluxe -Family cruiser

Copyright only applies to printed or recorded material. To protect a manufactured item requires a patent. Any patents a Judson may have had will have run out 3-4 decades ago. |

People replicate everything, Musclecars, speed parts, Boats. Some people get pissed, some people enjoy the look and performance without the huge expense. Buy one, run it, enjoy it and put your precious orig unit in a museum for another generation to enjoy- _________________ 56 oval

I've heard that too. Ordinary Porsche 356 (or 912) cranks are de-stroked, then stamped with the letters Okrasa. Or was it EMPI? It is a great way to save a worn out Porsche crank though. |

There are many more Okrasa motors in VWs today than Okrasa ever produced. It's a joke............. If one half the supposed Okrasa motors were more than one half actual Okrasa I would be suprised. _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." Copying the crank and manifolds would seem easy but what about the heads?
In fact, if anybody is producing repro Okrasa heads I'd be really interested
