are type 3 backing plates all the same?

i have heard that all type 3 backing plates are the same is this true. does anyone have pics the can post of the different years if they are different. thanks for your time

I don't know about he early fronts versus the slightly less-early fronts, but the rears are different from wide 5 to 4-lug. I had to drill out adjusting holes in my early wide 5 rear backing plates when I switched to 4-lugs.

There are differences in the backing plates; otherwise I would not be getting swamped with requests for the early backing plates from a 1963 Notch I parted out.
