I have a 70 westy that I love except for the damn pop top (Hinges at the front). When I get going about 65 or 70, the top raises about 3 to 4 inches above the roof of the van in the front. I have all the proper straps on the inside but it doesn't seem to help. Also I have Yakima racks mounted to the top and would like to be able put stuff on them without ripping the top off. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the top to stay secure.

| I thought I read a thread about this long ago, but I can't find it. If I remember correctly the trick is to deflect the airflow just a bit higher so it holds the top down rather than lifting it up. I don't recall how they did that though, sorry. Jeremy |
