that was, previously, a fuel injection motor right? then a carb was mashed on top of it or something?
not too bright...i need your help guys...
its a 72 fasty i'm looking at buying...well me and my bro if he doesnt get a bay window bus he's looking at.
says 2000miles on a rebuilt 1600. single weber bug spray.

Does that thing produce enough vacuum to run the auto tranny? _________________ To his their own PBJ

interesting...it says teh transmission has a leak?

That's mine. 1776 with a Weber Progressive sitting on top.
Yes, plenty of Vac to run the auto.

Here's my setup, hasn't caused any problems in my sqaure other than some leaks around the the raised portion in the engine cover that let some exaust smell in. Sealed it up with silicone and its fine.

Make sure you pull the Idle jets and douche them out with Carb Cleaner, then compressed air. Helps to clean out the bowl / mains too.
I'd be interested to know what jets you are using.
The redline weber site has a decent blow up and some tuning procedures.
Good Luck. Don't expect super performance. Mine runs ok, on a brand new 1776, 009 setup. I'm going to try out an FI vacuum distributor this weekend hopefully.
