I've had this beam for a while and im about to use it, had a buddy check it out and he told me there was some problems with it.
1.The most important is that the bolt you screw up and down for the adjustment-he said when its at full adjustment the top of the bolt should be centered on the aluminum block but it off center towards the bottom. He said it needs to be centered to dispurse the stress on it. Is everyone else's beams set up like this. I got the adjusters from So-Cal Imports

2. The welds are shitty and the weld did not penetrate into the beam between the adjuster and the beam. Would you grind the shitty weld down and put a nice thick bead on it or leave it as it is. He said its bound to bust.

3. Im looking for max lift at the position they are at now is this it or can i move them up more

1. im pretty sure my adjuster bolts are the same way

2.grind welds down and reweld. weld 1-2 inches at a time to keep heat from warping beam.

3.that position is max lift.

I can't tell for sure but one thing looks to be off is the bottom is turned less then the top, in other words at the same adjustment the top leaves will have more stress. I could be wrong but worth looking at. If you would not put your safety on the welds get rid of them and do them right.
