I just got my Henry Elfrink fuel injection manual today and I was wondering about the copyright laws associated with it.I am wanting to scan it and put it up on my website.Does anybody know if thats legal or anythiny?.I looked it up on the copyrighting website and it says anything prior to 1978 is only protected for 28 years so Im guessing the copyright expired in 1997.If anybody knows anything different it would be appreciated.
Thanks, John

according to the copyright website it should not be under copyright law anymore. Anything copyrighted before 1978 is only protected for 28 years.Im pretty sure im posting it.

Unless the copyright has been renewed. Check with the publisher to be safe. It can get real expensive once you break the copyright law.

Thanks! Like his other manuals, it seems to have all the Bentley photos and diagrams, and then some. Interestingly, they aren't labeled VW photos... not sure where he gets them. They are professionally retouched like the VW and Bentley books. Nice job of hi-res scanning for us!
