|
|
Here is a picture of our new 10 week old Siberian Husky, Kyra, that we just picked up this weekend and she will be our new camping buddy when we go on trips in our Syncro Westy. Hope to have her "somewhat" potty trained in time.
Do any of you camp with your furry friends?
So us who your buddy is.

That would appear to be "Samba Approved"!

Oh man. I had 2 Huskies, one red one like yours. If it were a male, get a really big heavy chain, or the bugger will take off on you and you will find him 50 miles away the next day. Those electric collars don't work on Huskies since they figure out the pain is only brief. Wonderful dogs, strong prey drive, no rabbits or other small animals around my house when I had my Husky. In spring, the bastard would blow his winter coat, not a good time to put him in the Westy. He also dug the biggest holes I ever saw, in one night. They love camping, probably because the potential for small critters just went exponential compared to the back yard. Great dogs, God forbid I should ever have another one. Brush her coat before a trip, or that fine undercoat will slowly build up on your interior. |

Heed these warnings. Winston's first owner, He Who is Not Yet Named, in Arizona, had a dog. That is all I know about him--that, and that he smoked. He may have smoked things other than tobacco, considering what fell out from under the headliner, but, he had a dog. And how do I know?
Leaking rear heater core--located, removed, replaced. Dog hair. Rear heater blower. Dog hair. CRAMMED with it.
Auxiliary battery compartment. Dog hair.
Under the rear seat. Dog Hair.
Under the front dash. Dog Hair.
Cabinets. Dog Hair.
It's enough to make you want a chihuahua or a Xolo. Other evidence of Winston's past experiences with an enclosed canine included the pushed-out side window screen, repaired, and the scratches all over the film on the front two windows.
I like dogs. Really.
Best! |
