I've got a 71' westy I want to lower. I've lowered a LOT of cars, and I know I could pay the money and get the bus boys beam, but I don't want to spend that much (I'm also building a 54' plymouth). The adjusters alone are $150, while bug adjusters are like $20?!?!? I've seen in the European magazines they install "folksy" adjusters. Anyone heard of those? Any other ways? I can weld, so that's not a problem. Also, anyone ever "bag" a bus? or have picyures of an install? I hate those kits for bugs..I've bagged alot of cars, and those types of bags aren't supposed to take the side loads that type of install would put on them....

I have a bus boys beam and I am about to install it. I know they have the adjusters you can weld urself for about $125 I think. Its the same idea as the folksy i believe. I know of one web site that has a bolt up bag system for the type2 bus from over seas, but it seems expensive. You ever find a good cheaper way to bag a bus let me know bro. I would maybe like to do that as well later on. The web site for the bags is---http://www.maxhydraulics.com/vspecific.html |
