I am considering putting some rims on my bus to help with the sway in wind and to have a bit more control. Please post pics of your rims and how you mounted them (adapters, direct bolt on, swapped rotors) I really like the 911 Turbo wheels and I have seen them before and they look nice but I want to see what the fellow samba members are rolling on. I had a pic of a orange westy (74 I believe) a while ago that had a set of Porsche phone dials on it, I loved it but I cant find it anymore.

I have audi A4 15x7 wheels. Had to get the centres machined to fit, and I should get longer studs too (on the to do list).

I had Stockton Wheel in Stockton CA make these 15x8 inch wheels from a set of stock 14 inch rims. They will make any size you want using your stock wheel centers. I liked the idea of using the stock hubcaps on wide rims.

Those are GoWesty alloys. Or at least GoWesty hub caps.

me too. those rims are way slicker than any crome. with those tires and the rest of your cosmetics and accessories, it looks like futuristic troop transport or something.

If you don't mind my asking, ho much does Stockton Wheel get to set up wheels like that? Can they do 16" rims with the original centers off our factory 14" rims?

Thanks for the pic & any info.

Yea, aircooled buses are for chumps, watercooled conversion is the only way to fly.

And no, I'm not serious.
