| I am rebuilding a thing. The previous owner put cheap studs in the drums and now I have lug nut issues. I want to drill them out and use standard bug lugs (larger than thing lugs). Anybody done this? Any problems? |

| That, or change brake drums. You can also use adapters. Only post your thread in one forum --- |

| The lug bolts on my VW Thing aren't any different than bug lug bolts. |
