It actually didn't rain this year. There were two split Beetle's for sale, on two different ends of the spectrum. One was $5900, which will be parted out soon if no one stepped up, and the tan zwitter was $45,000. Steve Wood's split made an apperance. It was nice to meet you Steve. There was a good showing of early cars. Here are a few pic's. They're really varied. I thought we were getting invaded when the VW with the machine gun on top rolled through.

It was a great day! Really nice turnout. In fact, I think it was the biggest since Ive been going(about 12 years). There were some real cars there.
po7g: Congrats on your win! Nice car too. I was planning on bringing my '56 ghia out but I had taillight issues at the last minute(after I spent the time washing and waxing it). Talk about being PO'd!
Anyone get pics of the Miss Bugout contest??? We left right before the slalom. _________________ Jeff

Im not sure what some previous owner did but it looks to me like that they stuck the lens to the chrome ring using clear silicone. It didnt look half bad but I ordered new lenses from KGP&R and was planning on just sticking them in but when I tore all the old silicone off I found out pretty quickly that it wasnt going to fit. I tried to silicone the old lens back in but it looked like shit and it was late so I gave up. I found one thanks to the samba and hopefully it will be here in time so I can take it to our club show this sunday. Are you gonna try and come? Im sure you got a flyer at bugout. We would love to see your ghia there. _________________ Jeff

If your going to show your car it will be $20, if you just drive it in and not show it will be $5. _________________ Jeff
