| has anyone ever tried, or heard of using the fuel line port for spraying methanol/ethanol under a carb for a holley carb draw thru setup? I would use a squirter jet, but that will supposedly erode the blades in the turbo. I have also seen other injection setups that use a gigantic pump for high pressure use AFTER the turbo. I'm looking for a simple pressure switch activated setup. Fogger plates can be modified for different "hp shot" of fuel and nitrous and was wondering if it could work. |

why do you need alchol injection? for cooling? that stuffs kinda pricey in the US, don't you dilute with water or something?
Not all metals are affected by alcohol so perhaps the turbine wouldn't be.
But I think a modified NOS plate would be a nice way to do that.
how much boost are you craming in it?

To do what you are thinking you will need a big pump to make it work. It needs rapid movement to help agitate it. We usually plumb the squirters under the valve covers and squirt directly into the chamber. just run nitrous the same way you described. Less money and less hassle.
55 gallons of Alky these days ranges between $100 and $150 depending on flucuation. Nitro is around $900 - $1000 for a 55 gallon drum. |
