Hockey Stick Positioning in Nosecone

Had to swap the nosecone from the old transmission to my new transmission. What is the correct orientation for the hockey stick? I believe that the transmission is already in neutral. I just need to confirm the positioning of the stick.

Here is what I have it at now. (It's just in the middle gear selector) .... or does it really matter as long as the hockey stick is engaged in the selectors?
