Just checking here before I head to the T34 mail list...

Does anybody know of a car cover that is made for the T34's? I know Cal Custom makes them for Notch, Squares and Fasty's, just not a T34. If there isn't one specific for a T34, is there a generic type model that I can buy that fits the T34 well?

Thanks.

Actually a cover for a Mercedes 190SL is a damn close fit. 230- 250- 280SL wouldn't be far off, either.
If you want a Type 34 specific cover, start by buying a heavy duty sewing machine.

Hey Tram,

Is there any particular year 190SL that would be a better match? Sorry I know nothing about old school Mercedes and I don't know if they changed body styles at all.

This California Car Cover Co. seems to carry them for years 1955 - 1963.

Thanks.

They were all basically the same throughout the years.
If they are going to charge you lots of money for one because it's for a 190SL, keep in mind that the fit is good, but by no means exact.
I would reccomend Coverite car covers, I've been buying them at my local Auto Parts stores for years. They're a multi layer cover with a breathing system, and they come in four or five different sizes. They fit very nicely, and they hold up very well, even to our Oregon winter monsoons. I have a size "C" on my Notch, and it fits great! They also are elastic along the bottom, so they're easy on/ off. I think they run about $40 at my local Knecht's Auto Parts.
